In Brain&Breakfast, we explore the communication aspects of situations and major societal issues where a group of people knows how to solve them but doesn’t act accordingly.

We focus on the ways communication within groups can block problem-solving and what we can do to get things moving.

Who is Ondráš Přibyla?

Ondráš Přibyla is the founder of the Fakta o klimatu project and recipient of the 2020 Award for communication of global climate change. Ondráš studied theoretical physics but around 2006 switched tracks from a scientific career to focus on communication. He initially worked as a popularizer and instructor (teaching, among other things, the Climate Change course at Masaryk University in Brno), later expanding his expertise to include nonviolent communication methodology, conflict mediation, and working with communication culture in organizations. In the Fakta o klimatu project, he and his team create visualizations of available data on climate change and possible solutions, aiming to contribute to the quality of public discourse.
