You’re at the swimming pool watching a few daredevils jump from the ten-meter-high diving board. You think about how great it looks and what it would be like to jump yourself. You climb up, step onto the edge… and get dizzy. The moment when you have to decide and take the step that Petr calls the “irreversible lean forward.”

You fall down. Your decision is irreversible. You can’t stop it anymore. All that’s left is to do your best not to show the rest of the pool the worst belly flop in history. This is how Petr describes the reality of anyone who decides to carry out their project. Many climb the board, get scared, and climb back down. We recognize them by how eagerly they criticize those who jumped. They blame them for everything they never tried themselves. That’s why it’s important to overcome fear and jump. At least try. Take your own path, even if it turns out to be wrong.

People live in a tunnel leading from point A to point B, a tunnel plastered with posters that imitate. A visionary must get beyond this tunnel to find their own idea and energy.

Who is Petr Rokůsek?

Petr Rokůsek is a visionary in sustainable economy and modern energy. Through his many years of entrepreneurship, he shows how nature and technology can be smartly combined. In 2008, he founded the joint-stock company Nano Energies, which sustainably trades electricity through three divisions, offering companies and everyday users the opportunity to manage electrical energy efficiently and responsibly. Together with a team of experts, he is currently focused on researching and testing possibilities for electricity sharing and aggregating energy flexibility.

Petr started his business career while studying environmental science at CTU, when he co-founded the successful company Jansen Display with a Dutch business partner, which he sold last year to the American company Sign-Zone. He applies sustainable management of natural resources and materials in other companies he co-founded as well. Since 2018, he spends part of his workweek in Switzerland developing innovations in modern energy, blockchain technologies, and smart textiles under the brand NowYou. He also founded Bluelight, a fund for investors who want their money to have a positive impact on life on Earth.
