AI and the epidemic of loneliness
We won’t be talking about digital technologies, but about how to keep your soul nourished even in the digital age and about the fundamental roots of “being human” in the era of AI.
Who is Karolína Presová
Karolína Presová spent two years working in Asia during her studies in sociology and media, where she began to observe the negative effects of digital technologies on the mental health of children and adolescents. For this reason, she immediately founded and developed the successful nonprofit Replug me upon returning to the Czech Republic, which has been addressing the negative impacts of the digital world on children and adults for several years, including research. She was one of the first in the country to practically address digital wellbeing both in schools and companies. Thanks to this, she has received numerous awards for social innovation and corporate social responsibility, and Forbes included her in its 30 under 30 list. Currently, she enjoys a slower pace of life in nature and motherhood. Professionally, she focuses on the development of AI and its impact on the soul and human development. Individually, as a consultant, she works with clients overwhelmed by the fast-paced digital age who want to dive deeper into themselves.
