Michal shared his knowledge ranging from setting up the concept of a new brand through specific examples of what marketing calls "insight" (an interesting perspective on the issue), to concrete examples of campaigns created at the agency.
“Constantly preparing new, current, and creative things that work is not easy. But it is possible. You have to let go of your ego and listen to your audience or, even better, the entire company. The ideas you uncover this way then need to be wrapped in a fresh form to engage people and communicate what you need to them,” says Michal Pastier.
Who is Michal Pastier?
Michal is co-owner and creative director of the advertising agency Zaraguza and the branding studio GoBigname. Zaraguza became the most creative agency in Slovakia and the Czech Republic according to YouTube, won the gold Euro Effie for the most effective advertising campaign in Europe, and the Grand Prix for the best social media profile in the Czech Republic. Michal was listed among the Top 100 European innovators by Google and Financial Times. He also appeared on the cover of Forbes Slovakia as the winner of the Business 30under30 category. He is the youngest recipient of the prestigious FILIP award for outstanding contribution to Slovak advertising.
He believes in the power of combining data and creativity, which is why he is involved with Exponea, one of the fastest-growing SaaS companies in the world in marketing automation and advanced data analytics using artificial intelligence (AI). He regularly lectures at conferences and universities. He is a fan of the Burning Man festival.
