More about the show
The idea for Brain&Breakfast mornings originated at 3M at the end of 2012. It was initiated by Jan Mašek, who worked there as an innovation leader. The breakfasts, which were originally intended to inspire primarily 3M colleagues, gradually opened up to the public and later grew into an independent project under the Red Button network.
Today, Brain&Breakfast takes place at the Impact Hub in Prague. From there, it is also recorded and live streamed to dozens of locations across the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Both small and large companies, coworking spaces, and community centers participate. We also stream to schools and libraries. How to set up a streaming location at your place can be found below on this page.
The breakfasts aim to cover a wide range of topics but generally focus on four main thematic areas:
- Education and Personal Development
This area showcases various perspectives on education as well as new approaches and trends. It emphasizes the importance of lifelong development.
Speakers have included: prof. Milan Hejný, Radvan Bahbouh, Petr Ludwig, Jakub Pok … - Science and Technology
This thematic area covers a broad spectrum from cardiac surgery through architecture to artificial intelligence.
Speakers have included: Michal Pěchouček, Josef Průša, Jiří Kůs, Blanka Říhová, Jan Pirk, Martin Jan Stránský, and many others. - Entrepreneurship and Business
Prominent Czech and Slovak entrepreneurs share what they have learned through their personal journeys.
Speakers have included: Ján Košturiak, Libor Mertl, Jaroslav Řasa, Martin Hausenblas, Petr Skondrojanis, Filip Dřímalka, …
- Society, Gratitude, and Kindness
People who often start from much tougher circumstances than most of us have achieved great things. Let’s get inspired by them.
Speakers have included: Jiří Ježek, Petr Koukal, Tomáš Šebek, and others …
