The art of deception across centuries
We live in a time when not only technological tools are changing, but the very essence of knowledge creation and human communication. What we are experiencing today in the field of artificial intelligence is just a prelude to a profound transformation that awaits us in the next five to ten years. What will the world look like when algorithms take over most routine and cognitive tasks? How will the role of the state, the monetary system, and the hierarchy of human values change?
Professor Michal Pěchouček, rector of ČVUT and a globally recognized AI expert, invites you to an open discussion about the future of education and why, in the era of advanced algorithms, we will need deeper human understanding rather than just technological solutions. Come find out how to prepare yourself, your companies, and future generations for a world whose outlines are being shaped right now.
Who is Michal Pěchouček
Michal Pěchouček is one of the most prominent figures in Czech science and technological entrepreneurship in the field of artificial intelligence. Since 2026, he has served as rector of ČVUT in Prague, where he advocates for a fundamental modernization of the university, the development of research capacities, and preparing the academic environment for the impacts of autonomous systems development. Throughout his career, he has successfully connected academia with global business—he served as CTO of the multinational company Gen Digital, founded the Artificial Intelligence Center at FEL ČVUT, and was behind the creation of successful spin-offs such as Cognitive Security.
In his talks, he emphasizes that technological innovation must go hand in hand with value leadership, ethical responsibility, and investment in human capital.
