Who is Bob Kartous?
He studied pedagogy, physical education, and completed postgraduate media studies. He publishes in various Czech media, contributed to the book 2036 about the future 20 years from now, and to the cultural review Prostor on the relationship between education and hatred. He is programmatically involved in and moderates discussions within Meltingpot (Colours of Ostrava), spoke at TEDx Prague 2017, lectures, moderates, and collaborates with the contemporary art center DOX, the educational project Education republic, Aspen Institute Central Europe, as well as governmental and local government bodies. Primarily, he leads communication and analysis of education policy at EDUin and edits and contributes to the critical online daily Britské listy. With his wife Andrea, he has two wonderful sons, Jáchym Bohumil (2003) and Mikuláš Ignác (2015). He has spent or is spending part of the week as a full-time parent to both, as there is nothing more important in the world.
