Daniel Franc worked for many years at Google, gaining extensive experience directly from one of the birthplaces of the Objectives and Key Results methodology. We’ll also talk with him about what they didn’t tell you about OKR but you definitely should be doing. And also about what they did tell you but you don’t actually have to do.

Why watch this episode?

  • You’ll see how to ensure cross-functional team collaboration.
  • You’ll learn how to evaluate mistakes and whether initiatives can be part of Key Results.
  • Daniel will also share his experiences that might give you a completely new perspective on OKR and its prevailing interpretation.

Who is the guest?

Daniel Franc

Daniel Franc spent 13 years at Google, including 7 years in the role of global programs manager. He was responsible for projects, teams, and programs all managed through OKR, within a culture and system that supported a bottom-up decision-making style, sharing, and what is sometimes called today a "team of teams." Currently, as a collaboration and community consultant, he helps various organizations unlock energy among people and bring a fresh breath of inspiration.
