It is important to build a learning culture within the team and give people space to try things even without guaranteed results. In today’s fast-paced world, planning years ahead is no longer feasible; instead, planning by months and being flexible and curious is essential. AI tools are now accessible to everyone thanks to the Czech language and low prices, which also gives small companies and nonprofits a chance.

Who is the presenter?

Dita Formánková

Dita Formánková is a social entrepreneur and innovator who believes that digital skills and lifelong learning are key to personal freedom and the resilience of society as a whole. In 2013, she founded Czechitas, now one of the largest European organizations supporting women in technology, which has opened the IT world to over 100,000 people. She currently serves as chair of the board, responsible for long-term strategy, advocacy, fundraising, and corporate education. Last year, she co-founded the Inspire & Impact network, connecting women in leadership and developing programs focused on digital confidence, resilience, and financial independence.

Throughout her career, she led Avast’s first global diversity and inclusion strategy, co-created initiatives such as Powercoders and GreenFox Academy, and serves on the advisory board of Česko.Digital, the largest Czech tech community for digitalizing public services and the civic sector. She advises ministries, companies, and international institutions on digital transformation and inclusive leadership. She is a guest lecturer at Red Button EDU, teaching digital mindset.

Dita has received awards including the European Citizen’s Prize, Forbes 30 under 30, and the SXSW Community Service Award. She is inspired by people’s courage to change themselves and the world around them and believes technology can be a catalyst for this change when approached with curiosity and empathy.
