We can train well-being through four skills: mindfulness (being present in the moment), connection with others, insight into our own thoughts and emotions, and a sense of purpose in work. When we practice these skills regularly, we improve our baseline level of well-being, leading to more frequent moments of happiness—not because everything is perfect, but because we become more resilient and at ease with ourselves.

Who is the presenter?

Christina Glavas

Christina Glavas, with a unique combination of leadership skills, leads the core mission and holistic direction of Healthy Minds Innovations. Before joining, she served as vice president of growth and strategy at Chopra Global, where she led initiatives with global impact, including partnerships with Oprah Winfrey, Alicia Keys, and J. Balvin. She also held the position of executive director at the strategic intelligence firm Elia Intel and managed multi-million-dollar research projects for the consulting practice EHS Partners.

Christina is the original co-founder of Saambaa—a community-connecting software platform featured by Apple and Mashable—and the founder of the multimedia global educational initiative Minds Wide Open.

She is a passionate traveler and has been a regular attendee of the Burning Man festival since 2005, where she participates in the award-winning collective light performance art of the UCBW group. She is originally from New York but now spends most of her time in San Diego.
