Objectives and Key Results is a methodology growing in popularity. It’s simple to explain, but applying it in practice can be quite challenging. In our series, we’ll explore it in depth.
- The Objectives and Key Results methodology helps teams align goals and set priorities.
- OKRs connect long-term strategy with the question “what should our team focus on now”.
- OKRs engage teams “from the bottom up” and enable learning from both successes and failures.
We will introduce OKRs in detail. We’ll try formulating the right goals, discover common mistakes and misunderstandings you can learn from. We’ll also cover the process of how to pilot and implement OKRs in your organization so you can make an informed decision if this is the right path for you and find the proper approach. Expect some education but also discussions with people from companies experienced with OKRs who are willing to share both their successes and failures.
The series will be very interactive. You will get out as much as you put in, so if you are serious, prepare for individual assignments and feedback in small groups.
Who will guide you through the show?
Ondřej Suchý
Ondra je zakladatel projektu Tealmakers, který rozvíjí organizace s využitím tyrkysových principů, živí se jako konzultant a lektor. Podnikatele považuje za lidi s velkým vlivem a odpovědností a rád podporuje takové, kteří vytváří skutečnou hodnotu pro svět a pro lidi.
Předtím vybudoval IT společnost Enlogit, v roli člena správní rady firmy SALTEK měl na starost dlouhodobé vzdělávání lidí. Je instruktorem dobrovolnické Prázdninové školy Lipnice, pořádající kurzy podporující odolnost, odvahu a odpovědnost. Zdědil geny učitelky a technika, takže si dodělává psychoterapeutický výcvik a ještě předtím vystudoval Fakultu jadernou a fyzikálně inženýrskou na ČVUT.
