AI and the epidemic of loneliness
Is it still a hassle for you that you go through every year just for a signature and to meet safety regulations, but it doesn’t really prepare you for a real crisis? It can be done differently. How about using the principles of experiential learning to get the most out of the information? What if we prepared people in our organizations to provide first aid in a way that they can actually handle a crisis situation?
Ondřej Koudela, founder of PrPom, will talk about first aid—and maybe it won’t just be talk ;)
Who is Ondřej Koudela
Ondřej Koudela studied paramedicine and sociology. At the same time, he became an experiential learning instructor and developed his skills in several different companies. From 2009 to 2013, he worked as a resuscitation nurse at the Clinic of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation at FN Motol. He has also worked as a lifeguard, business skills trainer, bartender, and taxi driver. Since 2013, he has also been practicing the peaceful martial art aikido. He combined his two passions—first aid and experiential learning—in 2012 when he founded PrPom.
Since 2020, he has been a member of the Active Reserves of the Czech Army. As head of PrPom, he focuses on teaching first aid through experience, leads a team of more than 40 young instructors, and strives to improve first aid education in the Czech Republic. PrPom is also behind several awareness projects, including Myths about first aid, The smart car first aid kit, Don’t be afraid to help!, research on the quality of first aid training in driving schools, and the first Czech podcast about first aid called “Zapadlej jazyk”.
