Who is Jan Romportl
Jan Romportl is an artificial intelligence expert, founder of the startup Elin.ai, consultant, and technology partner at Presto Ventures. In the past, he founded and led Dataclair.ai – the Artificial Intelligence Center at PPF and O2 Czech Republic – until mid-2022.
He addresses pressing issues in mental health and the online world using artificial intelligence. He has many years of experience in university research and teaching AI, human-machine interaction, speech technologies, and philosophy at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. In his free time, he runs, practices taekwondo, dives, and is a private pilot. He is also an enthusiastic collector of historic Atari computers.
