Who is Roman Slivka?
Roman Slivka has been navigating the sea of projects for over thirty years and still enjoys it. Just as he loves returning to the sea, he simply has project seawater running through his veins. He gladly shares insights, experiences, and mistakes he made during his "voyages."
"Managing a project or being the captain of a yacht is very similar. Lots of routine, hard work, and responsibility. A boat has no brakes; it can’t stop in place. If you’re not clear about where you’re heading, believe me, sooner or later you’ll run aground. If you forget to watch the weather, you’ll soon be shivering and soaked to the bone. If you stop paying attention to how the crew feels, a mutiny is waiting. Being the captain of a project or a yacht means responsibility, especially for those sailing with you," offers Roman Slivka’s perspective on projects.
