My whole life I have helped the first ones – people who excelled in their abilities, built successful companies, and achieved great things. I also encountered the last ones – people who ended up on the streets, but I overlooked them and told myself they were responsible for their own fate. Gradually, I noticed that many of those who were among the first didn’t manage their positions well and ended up badly. And I discovered new heroes who started badly but ended well. I sit with them in the Dobrý pastier community and see people who have managed to overcome addictions, debts, and many bad habits.
I would like to talk about a world I discovered ten years ago that changed my direction. It is the world of generational poverty, children living in unimaginable conditions in Roma settlements. People who have lost their roof over their heads or their freedom and have been excluded from normal society. A world of unnecessary and lonely people. I began looking for ways to connect the world of the rich and successful with the world of the poor and excluded. And interesting projects emerged that I would like to show you.
