Why watch?
We return to the conversation with Radvan Bahbouh that took place on March 19th, when the whole situation was quite tense and our main effort was to calm it down. Through the lens of three perspectives (mathematical statistics, medicine, and psychology), we will look back at two months that have changed our habits and society. We will try a debriefing, as it is called in coaching when looking back, in practice using the example of the coronavirus situation.
What will you learn?
- What debriefing is for and why it is done
- How debriefing can help prepare for other difficult periods
- What sociomapping is and how managers can use it in their practice
Who is Radvan Bahbouh?
Radvan Bahbouh is the head of the psychology department at Charles University and also leads a team of coaches at QED. He is the author of the sociomapping method.
About himself on the QED website he says: "I have been actively involved in coaching for 20 years. Since I combine effective elements from various psychological approaches and use psychological insights and skills to appropriately individualize my methods, I represent psychological coaching. I am also involved in coaching didactically. I wrote a book on the psychology of self-coaching called The Tale of the Lost Landscape. Besides coaching, I have completed several psychotherapeutic trainings and have a psychotherapeutic practice focused mainly on crisis interventions. One of my strongest qualities is the ability to inspire people to personal growth."
