For the next episode of Agile Talks, we invited experts from both worlds to join us in exploring the questions above. Our guests are Jarek Procházka, agile coach and mentor, and Martin Klusoň, head of the Chamber of Project Managers and a successful manager.
Why should you watch this episode?
- You’ll learn whether the agile and non-agile worlds can coexist within one company.
- Our guests will answer whether it’s possible to implement agile principles in a project-driven company.
- You’ll get practical tips on how to introduce a hybrid approach in your organization.
Who are the guests?
Jaroslav Procházka
Jaroslav Procházka works with companies and their leaders to build agile and innovative cultures where it makes sense and where people are open to it. He has gathered over 15 years of experience in agile contexts in various roles—from developer to product owner to agile coach—in many companies and his own projects. Over time, he has encountered many approaches to agile principles and methods, understanding their benefits and impacts. His approach focuses heavily on co-creation with leadership and teams, coaching, mentoring, shadowing, and simulations.
Because he likes to get his hands dirty, besides helping with agile transformations, he co-founded two startups: a mobile marketplace for recruiting young people, QuickJOBS, and a technology company, SimplyIT.cloud. He also co-founded a business incubator, mentors in other incubators and competitions, and has organized and taught university students in Ostrava.
He co-organized and contributed to several editions of the inAgile, People inAgile, Product inAgile, HRin, Talent Conference, and Ostrava TEDx events. He enjoys sharing his experience through books, e-books, and articles on LinkedIn and his blog www.differ.cz.
Martin Klusoň
Martin Klusoň is one of the recognized faces of Czech project management. Over the past twenty-five years, he has held roles as CEO, consultant, trainer, program and project manager. He founded Symphera, a company providing project management services. He has trained thousands of project managers, product owners, and scrum masters in the Czech Republic, Europe, and the USA. He helps clients with major projects involving agile transformations, methodology implementation, PMO setup, and assessing company or project manager maturity. Martin is the founder and honorary president of the Chamber of Project Managers in the Czech Republic. He speaks at professional conferences and writes expert articles.
