Why watch?
The coronavirus originated in China. For this episode and his talk during the time when shops reopened in the Czech Republic after a long ban, Michal Poppe chose Pavel Dvořák. They discussed the situation in Shanghai. It is only 800 kilometers from Wuhan, but our media didn’t talk much about it. By the end of April, the spread of the virus in China was brought under control. Let’s reflect together on whether we can learn from what is currently happening in China for our lives, economy, and business.
What will you learn?
- What impact did the coronavirus have on Chinese business and the economy?
- How does China support freelancers and entrepreneurs?
- And how did Chinese education respond to the crisis?
Who is Pavel Dvořák?
Pavel lives alternately in Shanghai and Budmerice. He publishes books and organizes trips through China. He trains and lectures about China and Chinese culture. Sometimes he also interprets.
He photographs, films, and writes a blog about China as well as personal topics. You can learn more about Pavel on his blog.
