About the book says Dominika Trčková, program coordinator for kindness at the Lilie & Karla Janečkových Foundation.

Seven human stories, inspiring interviews, and perspectives on how to make the world around us a better place to live. The aim of the book Laskavci is to inspire readers to realize that good deeds are done not only for others but also for ourselves. The author also interviewed many experts on the topic of kindness, including doctor Jan Vojáček, pastor Martina Viktorie Kopecká, and biohacker Veronika Allister. After hours of conversations with experts and kind-hearted people, as well as dozens of books, articles, and studies, the author presents seven benefits that this trait brings to the lives of all who live and spread it. The book also includes kind inspirations for good deeds that anyone can easily get involved in.
