Here is what the book's author, Robert Vlach, says about it.

Are you self-employed? Or are you just thinking about starting? Let the most qualified person advise you. Robert Vlach, a well-known entrepreneur and consultant, provides exactly the information and experience you need for your success and growth in his 760-page book about freelancing.
The book draws on the experiences of hundreds of professionals from dozens of fields and offers proven know-how for freelancing – basics for first-time entrepreneurs, best practices and career strategies, as well as advanced tools appreciated even by seasoned pros with a decade of experience. It covers the entire long journey of business development, from tentative first steps and beginner mistakes, through challenging early years, to a fully established personal business built on expertise and a good reputation.
However, don’t expect a quick success recipe. Robert Vlach has been freelancing for 17 years and, as the founder of the successful portal navolnenoze.cz, has heard countless entrepreneurial stories with both good and bad endings, many of which he shares as examples. He highlights the pros and cons of freelancing and recommends safe, slow success strategies for people who honestly put their name on the line and want to avoid mistakes and dead ends.
Who is Robert Vlach?
Robert Vlach works as a business advisor for top professionals and company owners. Since 2005, he has also been systematically supporting freelancer entrepreneurship. Together with colleagues, he manages two large professional communities he founded: Navolnenoze.cz and the Europe-wide Freelancing.eu, which together rank among the largest and most active freelance communities in Europe. Robert is also the author of the bestseller Na volné noze (Melvil, 2017), which has already enjoyed a successful worldwide release.
