Who are the guests?

Jan Romportl

Jan Romportl is the director of Dataclair and chief data scientist at O2 Czech Republic. He began his academic career at the Faculty of Applied Sciences at the University of West Bohemia in Plzeň, where he studied cybernetics and artificial intelligence. Besides these fields, he also pursued philosophy of science at the doctoral level at the Faculty of Philosophy at UWB.

Since 2015, he has been working at O2, leading the area focused on the use and development of advanced machine learning in telecommunications data. He also researches AI safety, collaborates on research with the Center for Theoretical Studies at Charles University, the National Institute of Mental Health, and the Czech Effective Altruism movement. He also organizes the AI Safety Meetup in Prague.

Filip Trhlík

Filip Trhlík is a student working as a machine learning & NLP researcher at O2 Czech Republic. He is interested in development and research in machine learning. He also collaborates with Charles University on research into automated analysis of disinformation and its spread.
