AI and the epidemic of loneliness
At the May breakfast, you won’t learn about the types of addictions, how they develop, or their impact on human health, because the internet and bookstores are full of that information. Instead, you’ll find out why the topic of regulating addictive substances is so complex, why it’s impossible to successfully address and solve this issue today without understanding and knowing its history. You’ll learn about the complicated relationships between different parties, their perspectives on regulation, and why prevention is so challenging. At the same time, you’ll have the chance to reflect on how much this topic does (or doesn’t) concern you and whether you can or want to (not) deal with it.
