Imagine being told by your first-grade teacher, at the very start of shaping your personality, after a mistake, that you’re a complete idiot who shouldn’t have been born at all. That would shake anyone’s confidence, let alone a six-year-old boy! For Charlie Greenberg, my guest today, this experience actually gave him a boost! He threw himself into sports, music, writing… trying above all to prove to himself that he’s got what it takes! He fought his ADHD handicap mainly with discipline, diligence, training, and asceticism. He made it to youth national teams in handball, his floorball YouTube channel now has 30,000 followers, and his videos have over 7 million views. Charlie is just over thirty and has already written more than 30 books!
“I’m one of the few people who probably have written more books than they’ve read,” Charlie says with a smile. His latest book, ReConfidence, is about building self-confidence and builds on his therapeutic work with teenagers, helping them by sharing his experiences not only from adolescence.
Listen to the interview with the charismatic and energetic Charlie Greenberg and find out, among other things, what new book you can look forward to.
