Ján Košturiak: The last will be first
More than 60 percent of students go through an internship program before graduating (half of them even have two work experiences before finishing school).
If companies don’t offer internship programs, they miss the chance to reach not only these talented students directly but also to cultivate their own brand ambassadors. But how many interns is enough? And how many actually stay with the company? Is it better to hire an external candidate with experience or to train an intern in-house?
Pavlína Louženská discusses this topic in relation to authenticity, sustainability, and entrepreneurship in the show #Generace Z. Globally, for example, consulting firm PwC offers jobs to 90 percent of its interns, and most companies offering internships see the opportunity to develop their own employees as key.
