Says about the book Irena Zatloukalová, a member of the Red Button network.

time management iv. generace
The book by the founder of the comprehensive managerial approach “time management 4th generation” and a leading Czech consultant offers a complete, practical, and unique perspective on time planning. It presents an original approach that responds to the increasing demands of today’s world – an overload of information, options, and the pressure to accomplish more and more tasks while also striving to be successful and happy both at work and in family and society.
Instead of classic advice on how to better use time planning techniques and tools, Petr Pacovský advises focusing less on time itself and more on yourself. He shows that the solution lies more in changing our approach to time, to ourselves, in shifting our mindset, attitudes, and habits. Most people associate terms like performance and efficiency with precision in planning, diligence at work, and great effort. Time management 4th generation does not shy away from striving for long-term efficiency but offers a slightly different path: Success, performance, prosperity – it all starts with feeling good. A person who feels motivated, understands the purpose of what they do, has things under control, is ready to live with change, and knows how to harness the power of their mind – automatically achieves better results.
“At the end of each chapter, there are tasks that are good to do immediately because the next chapter builds on them. It taught me patience, not to rush, and not to want to finish reading it right away but to truly experience it,” says Zatloukalová. “When I feel like I’m running out of time, I think about whether it’s really important to me, whether I really need to deal with it, and how much time I want to give it,” she describes what has changed over the past few years. “I realized that how I perceive time and how I manage it depends on how I think about time.”
The experience she took from the book gave her not only patience but also a different way of thinking about time and tasks that used to be a priority for her.
Who is Irena Zatloukalová?
Irena Zatloukalová is a curious and inquisitive observer. Despite her surname (or perhaps because of it), she makes a living through communication in all its forms. Last year, she moved from Seznam to Jirka Vicherek, and together they are advancing the FENEK^^ agency. Besides communication strategies, she enjoys people, corporate cultures, processes – basically the things that those of us who go to work spend a significant part of our day dealing with.
