Who is Associate Professor Jan Konvalinka?

A Czech biochemist and virologist, vice-rector of Charles University for science and research. His research focuses mainly on retroviral proteases and neuropeptidases. He participated in the successful development of a drug against the HIV virus. He currently leads an academic initiative through which Czech universities and the Academy of Sciences aim to assist with COVID-19 virus testing.
