"If you take an existing idea and add your own worldview and energy, you can create something new and original based on what already exists. Be a creator, not a plagiarist," says Petr Skondrojanis, a member of the Red Button network.

10 things nobody told you about creativity

For nearly ten years, I tried to figure out how to create art. This is everything I learned along the way. When I started sharing my advice with others, a funny thing happened: I realized it wasn’t just for artists. It applies to everyone.

The tips on the following pages should be followed by anyone trying to bring at least a pinch of creativity into their life and work. (And that should probably be all of us.) In other words: this book is for you.
Whoever you are, whatever you do.

- Austin Kleon

Who is Petr Skondrojanis?

Petr Skondrojanis has over 20 years of experience in HR. Throughout his career, he has worked on the supplier side and has always been interested in three things: a) the purpose of what he does, b) mutual respect, and c) professionalism. He describes himself as a humanocentrist because he works for people. People, their needs, perceptions, and relationships are at the forefront of everything he does. We all have strengths and weaknesses, we all make mistakes, and each of us is unique—and that diversity is what makes his work so interesting. Currently, he spends most of his time focusing on corporate cultures and enjoys meeting many great companies and talented people eager to create added value in their work. The world is more in order than it seems at first glance. And driving a 50-year-old Austin Mini Cooper even makes traffic jams an experience.
