Who are the authors of the book?
All three authors have been involved in journalism for a long time. Some focus more on the practical side, others more on the theoretical.
Leonard Downie Jr. spent most of his life with The Washington Post and now teaches journalism at Arizona State University.
C.W. Anderson works in journalism as a lecturer and is the author of several books.
Michael Schudson is a sociologist and historian by training who teaches journalism at Columbia University and has also written several books on the subject.
