Radek Gajdušek, a member of the Red Button network, talks about the book.

Who moved my cheese? is a parable that reveals deep truths about change. It’s an entertaining and instructive story about two mice and two little people living in a maze, searching for cheese. Cheese is a metaphor for what we want in life—whether it’s a job, a relationship, money, a house, freedom, good health, social recognition, or peace of mind. The maze represents the place where we look for what we want—our organization, family, or society. Both the mice and the little people face sudden change in the story. One of the little people, who eventually adapts successfully to the change, writes on the maze wall what he has learned. When you see the writings on the wall, you’ll learn to approach change in a new way that eases stress in your life. The story is suitable for all ages. You can read it in an hour, but its deep wisdom will stay with you for a lifetime.

Who is Radek Gajdušek?

Radek Gajdušek originally studied IT and worked for many years as a programmer, but over time he transitioned into the role of Agile coach and Lean mentor. He enjoys experiencing everything firsthand with people, standing with them on the same “battlefield” rather than giving smart advice and lessons from behind the scenes. To support agility in the Czech Republic, he co-founded the #CzechAgile association, which aims to unite the Czech agile community. His great passion is ice hockey. Besides playing regularly as an amateur, he helps both young and professional athletes with mental training through the BrainBrush project.
