Said about the book by Miky Škoda, a member of the Red Button network.

The first part of the trilogy "Remembrance of Earth," which builds on original ideas about how people who come after us might live. The story is set in the Middle Kingdom during the Great Cultural Revolution, where the Chinese, unwilling to fall behind the Soviets and Americans, attempt to make contact with extraterrestrial civilizations as part of a secret military project. Thirty years later, prominent scientists begin to die on Earth, and sects emerge advocating a return to nature. A new virtual reality computer game appears—strange, magical, and unsettling, as if it doesn’t even belong to this world. Slowly, the truth about the secret project from the Cultural Revolution era starts to unfold. The Three-Body Problem received the prestigious Hugo Award for Best Novel in 2015. The next two parts of the trilogy were published in 2008 and 2010.

Who is Miky Škoda?

Miky Škoda has learned over seven years of building communities around experiential learning and being a "scout for adults," like many others, that we have far greater capabilities in the Czech Republic than we realize. Whether through leading X-Challenge, the Educator initiative, or collaborating with many educational projects, he focuses on what we lack to fulfill the vision of becoming a global accelerator. He works on topics such as interdisciplinary education, innovation, and fundamental soft skills like working with courage, which are essential for innovation.
