Who is Jan Konvalinka?
Jan Konvalinka is a respected biochemist and vice-rector of Charles University for scientific research, as well as the head of the "Human pathogen proteases" team at the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry of the Czech Academy of Sciences. His work focuses on the biochemistry of enzymes that affect the life cycle of viruses and tumor growth. He is the author of over 130 scientific publications with more than 3,000 documented citations.
