Learning path
Critical thinking
Our company is built on working with information. We live in a time with ever-improving possibilities not only to create and share information but also to alter it or invent it and spread it widely. That’s why it’s essential to be able to evaluate information, seek out trustworthy sources, and take a closer look at what’s happening behind the scenes of online media.
Critical thinking is a key skill for both employees and leaders, one that no one is simply born with, but fortunately, it can (and must) be trained.
We have put together the learning path from RB EDU content into 4 modules:
Module 1 focuses primarily on the critical thinking approach to information. You will get familiar with the basic concepts.
Module 2 specifically targets media and news reporting.
Module 3 is dedicated to online platforms. Who spreads disinformation, why, and how, plus algorithm settings.
Module 4 offers a perspective on the fatal impacts fake news had in the post-conflict environment of the former Yugoslavia.

In conclusion
Making it this far is an impressive achievement. You probably already have a clear idea whether you want to continue developing your critical thinking skills. Whether your motivation comes from personal experience or was sparked by the insights of experts featured in this learning path, we wish you the best. One of the leadership principles that applies to critical thinking is to always start with yourself; only then can you positively influence those around you by your example and actions. Wishing you success.
(Disinformation leads to not knowing what is true and what is not, causing resignation and disinterest. Maybe you’ve even argued with your parents or friends over the choice of president, vaccination, or another “hot topic.” These are often fueled by so-called trolls who send chain emails to your parents, post obvious nonsense in Facebook discussions that spread quickly and might be believed by some, or use social media mechanisms to influence your children.)
