89% of companies lose productivity due to employees’ financial difficulties. When an employee struggles, so does their employer – facing higher administrative and operational costs, reduced motivation and productivity – and ultimately, society and the economy as a whole suffer. In the Czech Republic, there are over three-quarters of a million people in debt enforcement, which is one in every ten adults. Most of them have multiple enforcement orders simultaneously. The system currently holds more than 5 million enforcement orders with a principal value exceeding 297 billion CZK. The causes are partly rooted in a dysfunctional system and unfair practices.
