Who is Marek Vácha?
Marek Vácha is a medical ethicist, priest, evolutionary biologist, writer, blogger, educator, and head of the Institute of Ethics and Humanities at the 3rd Faculty of Medicine, UK. He specializes in evolutionary biology, medical ethics, and the ethics of human genome research – he is the author of dozens of scholarly and popular science articles, as well as more than ten books.
He also serves as the pastor of the Lechovice parish. Through his approach to evolution, our role in it, and related ethical questions, he offers a unique perspective on the question “Who is a human being, really?”. Not least because of this, he is regarded as one of the most popular lecturers in the Czech Republic.
