Reverse mentoring
💡What happens when the oldest bank in the country invites six people under thirty to help shape its strategy? That’s exactly the question Česká spořitelna asked when it launched the Future Mindset Board — a shadow board of young people selected from thousands of applicants who worked side by side with the bank’s actual leadership for an entire year.
Reverse mentoring is often a buzzword at conferences. Rarely do we get to see what it looks like when it becomes a real corporate project — from the initial idea, through candidate selection, to evaluating the results. In this session, we’ll take a look behind the scenes.
🎤 What to expect:
Kateřina Sommerová, project leader and initiator, will guide us through how the entire Future Mindset Board came to be. What was the idea behind it, what problem it aimed to solve, and what the preparations looked like — the parts that usually stay behind the scenes.
Tomáš Hromádko from HR will then share the other side of the selection process — he was involved in the assessment center and provided HR support during candidate selection. You’ll hear how to identify a “young mindset” and what such a selection involves in practice.
Finally, we’ll invite two members of the very first Future Mindset Board, Alice Suchánková and Kristýna Exnerová, for a mini panel discussion. How do they evaluate the whole experience? What did they enjoy, what was challenging, and what do they take away from a year on the shadow board?
Come for inspiration, share experiences, and let’s talk about how generational exchange of perspectives transforms companies from within.
