Reverse mentoring
Most companies set up mentoring in the usual way – a more experienced colleague passes on know-how to a younger one. Reverse mentoring, however, flips this dynamic. Suddenly, the experienced are learning from those who bring a fresh perspective to the world.
It sounds simple, but in practice it raises many questions. How do you establish such a relationship? What needs to happen for both sides to take each other seriously? And how do you turn it into something that truly changes the company’s strategy?
At the September meeting, we’ll take a close look at this. Guests from Česká spořitelna will share their experience with the Future Mindset Board project — a shadow board made up of six young people who collaborated directly with the bank’s leadership on its strategy for a whole year. The country’s oldest bank and its youngest advisors at one table.
Come for inspiration, share your experiences, and let’s talk about how exchanging generational perspectives transforms companies from within.
