Why watch?

Nanotechnology is one of the driving forces behind the ongoing technological revolution, and the Czech Republic, which patented a machine for industrial production of nanofibers back in 2004, has a unique chance to climb among the global economic leaders. How much of this is a utopia? What have we already achieved with nanofibers? How do we currently stand compared to the rest of the world, and where is this situation headed? Jan Mašek will discuss all this and much more with his guests.

What will you learn?

  • What Czech nano projects look like.
  • How the Czech Republic became one of the world’s largest production hubs.
  • How innovations move from the lab to industrial production.

Guests

Jiří Kůs

Jiří Kůs is a Czech entrepreneur, promoter of nanotechnology and the concept of the third industrial revolution. He is a technician with a humanities background.
