In just 50 years of my life, the average life expectancy in the Czech Republic has increased by 7-8 years! Demographic and socioeconomic factors mean that the Husák’s children generation often runs at full speed like ferrets and don’t find the time or don’t know how to properly enjoy life here and now. Allegedly, up to 40% of those who care for both children and parents feel exhausted and suffer from burnout.
How do young members of Generation Z view our generation of fifty-year-olds? What do they appreciate about us, what inspires them, and what would they definitely want to do differently? Can they imagine living in multigenerational households? And will they one day take care of their parents in a situation where in a few years there will be three retirees for every one person of working age—almost twice as many as today?
