Jakub Heikenwälder, an expert in organizational development and AI, speaks about the book.

At a time when two camps argue over whether AI will save or destroy us, Lukáš Sedláček comes with the book "Naked in the AI era," which asks a different—and perhaps more important—question: what will remain of humanity once artificial intelligence becomes smarter than us in many ways? Instead of tips on efficiency, the author invites us on a philosophical journey into what has defined us as humans for millennia.
Sedláček, a graduate of Charles University and the University of Cambridge and founder of Innovation Week—the largest Central European AI event—builds his argument on a simple but overlooked fact: humans are not just thinking beings. We are beings with emotions, experiences, relationships, and the ability to know ourselves. He traces Western thought from Aristotle through Nietzsche and Jung to contemporary thinkers, showing that these dimensions of our existence are something AI will never fully acquire.
The book offers a sober perspective between two extremes—total enthusiasm and total fear. Sedláček sees great potential in AI but also calls for moderation in our thinking. The practical impact of his approach is concrete: before reaching for an AI solution, it’s wise to pause and ask whether it is also the most human-centered solution. Such a moment of reflection can be crucial.
"Naked in the AI era" is neither a manual for tech enthusiasts nor a comfort for skeptics. It’s a guide for anyone who wants to think about AI from a long-term perspective—and who asks how to amplify through technology the best of what we have within us. When AI "undresses" us, may the best of us remain.
